By creating an account or using Study24, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Study24 is an AI-powered study assistant that helps users generate summaries, quizzes, flashcards, and study packs from their study material. The service is available as a free plan with daily limits, or as a paid subscription (Basic or Premium).

3. User Accounts

To use Study24, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure and confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may not create accounts for others without their permission or create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Study24 to:

• Upload or submit illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
• Violate any intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service.
• Use automated tools or bots to access the service.
• Share your account with others to circumvent subscription limits.
• Submit content that infringes copyrights or other third-party rights.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Study24 offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.
• Prices may change with reasonable notice.

6. AI-Generated Content

Study24 uses AI (OpenAI) to generate summaries, quizzes, and flashcards. Please note:

• AI-generated content may not always be accurate or complete.
• You should verify important information before relying on it for exams or academic work.
• Study24 is not responsible for errors in AI-generated content.
• Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or personal information of others.

7. Intellectual Property

The Study24 app, its design, and its underlying technology are owned by Study24 and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.

Content you upload remains yours. By uploading content, you grant Study24 a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Study24 is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate. Use the service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Study24 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to academic results, data loss, or service interruptions.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@study24.app.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
