• Device information: device type and operating system for app functionality.
• Payment information: subscription purchases are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the Study24 app and its features.
• Process your study material using AI to generate summaries, quizzes, and flashcards.
• Track your study progress, streaks, and daily goals.
• Manage your subscription and enforce usage limits.
• Send transactional emails such as password reset codes.

3. AI Processing

Study24 uses OpenAI's API to process your study material. Text you submit is sent to OpenAI for processing and is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on AWS servers in the EU (Ireland). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Sensitive fields such as your email address are encrypted in our database.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI — AI processing of study material.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud hosting and database.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription billing.
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — optional social login.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Saved study content (summaries, quizzes, flashcards) is retained until you delete it. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@study24.app.

7. Children's Privacy

Study24 is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to processing of your data.
• Data portability.
